48 Hours in the Secret Place Women's Retreat
When the 12 reported to Jesus about their frenzy of ‘doing and teaching’ He said “Come off by yourselves; let’s take a break and get a little rest. For there was constant coming and going. They didn’t even have time to eat.” (Luke 6:31, the Message)
That invitation of Jesus to His own calls to the deep places in our own hearts down through the years. As the busy school year begins and as autumn approaches, Solgohachia invites you to come partake of a special time to answer that specific call.
This women's retreat will use several means to help you spend time quietly and alone with Jesus, listening for his voice, and bringing your own heart and your family before Him. The time will be designed to help you make a place for His input in your hopes and fears, your plans, your responsibilities, your hurts, your joys and your regrets.
"Come off by yourselves; let’s take a break and get a little rest. For there was constant coming and going. They didn’t even have time to eat."
Luke 6:31 (The Message)
There will not be the usual speaker and activities to distract you, or the clamor of many voices in discussion; rather, there will be fellowship with others at meal time and a short time of introduction to our personal devotional time. You will have a room to yourself, no telephone, no tv, no elevator music. This retreat is designed to provide you with maximum time and opportunity to listen for that ‘still small voice’ in a quiet, relaxed, casual setting.
Material will be provided to direct your meditation or you may bring your own. You will have many hours of uninterrupted time to spend alone with the Lord, thinking, meditating, praying, resting, reading, and walking over the mountain.
The cost of the Retreat is $265 per person and is all inclusive: private room; delicious, nourishing meals; healthy snacks; and helpful materials. Retreat dates are the weekends of January 24-26, 2020 and January 31-Feb 2, 2020. Attendance will be limited to the first 18 registrations.
We look forward to our time with you!
